Virginia High School Basketball - Rockbridge County bests William Monroe

The Rockbridge County Wildcats basketball team scored 37 points and limited the visiting William Monroe Dragons to 23 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Broadway for a Valley game on Tuesday, January 21. Rockbridge County will confront a Gobblers team coming off a 54-25 non-league win over Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Gobblers record now stands at 9-2.
With the loss, William Monroe falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Dragons host Louisa County (Mineral, VA) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Lions go into the game with a record of 6-4. Louisa County won 65-31 in their recent league game against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
