North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek Charter holds off Valor Preparatory Academy

January 17, 2025: Concord, NC 28027

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats basketball team scored a close 29-28 triumph over the Valor Preparatory Academy Owls .

The Wildcats (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record.

In their next game, the Owls confront the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) in a 1A Metro 8 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Valor Preparatory Academy will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record.
