The Virginia High Bearcats basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs to 5 in the Bearcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bearcats now possess a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Richlands for a Southwest game on Tuesday, January 21. Virginia High will confront a Blue Tornado team coming off a 52-31 league loss to Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Tazewell falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Marion (Marion, VA) to confront the Scarlet Hurricanes in a Southwest game on Tuesday, January 21. The Scarlet Hurricanes go into the game with a record of 3-6.
