Georgia High School Basketball - Twiggs Academy victorious over Thomas Jefferson Academy

In Friday's league contest, the host Twiggs Academy Trojans basketball team scored a good 49-37 triumph over the Thomas Jefferson Academy Jaguars.
The Trojans (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA). The Rebels go into the GIAA A Region 4 contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, John Hancock Academy was topped by Briarwood Academy (Warrenton, GA), 53-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Jaguars battle the David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA) in a GIAA A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Thomas Jefferson Academy will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 2-11 record after their 54-51 league loss to Covenant Academy (Macon, GA).
