The Winona Tigers (Winona, MS) basketball edged the visiting West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS), 44-42 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they host O'Bannon for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Winona will play a Greenwaves team coming off a 32-30 league win over North Side (Shelby, MS). The Greenwaves record now stands at 9-6.

The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-16. Houlka lost 54-14 in their recent non-league bout against Pine Grove (Ripley, MS)
