The East Grand Forks Green Wave the host Fergus Falls Otters ice hockey squad by a tally of 6-2 in Friday's non-league contest.

The Green Wave (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Thief River Falls (Thief River Falls, MN). The Prowlers go into the Greater Minnesota contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Thief River Falls by Warroad (Warroad, MN), 12-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Otters play the Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Fergus Falls will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record.
