The Edgewood Red Wolves (Merritt Island, FL) basketball edged the visiting Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL), 35-33 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Red Wolves now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Bayside for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23. Edgewood will play a Bears team coming off a 51-28 non-league win over Jensen Beach (Jensen Beach, FL). The Bears record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Merritt Island falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL) to play the Commodores in a bout on Friday, January 24. The Commodores go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
