With the victory, Steele Canyon advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Cougars host El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a match on Tuesday, January 21. The Vaqueros enter the match with a record of 12-5. El Capitan won 47-43 in their recent league match against Helix (La Mesa, CA)

The Eagles now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westview for a non-league match on Monday, January 20. Granite Hills will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 33-28 league win over Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-3.
