Washington High School Basketball - Issaquah holds off Mercer Island

The Issaquah Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Mercer Island Islanders to 41 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 12-1 record. They play next when they host Burlington-Edison for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, Mercer Island falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Islanders travel to Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA) to confront the Kangaroos in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Kangaroos come into the contest with a record of 9-5. Lake Washington won 57-35 in their recent non-league contest against Bothell/Inglemoor (Bothell, WA)
