In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Kearsley Hornets basketball team scored a close 22-19 triumph over the Linden Eagles.
The Hornets (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond (Richmond, MI). The Blue Devils enter the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
With the loss, Linden falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Holly (Holly, MI) to confront the Bronchos in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Bronchos go into the game with a record of 0-2.
