Virginia High School Basketball - Saint John Paul the Great Catholic holds off Saint Gertrude

The Saint John Paul the Great Catholic Wolves basketball team scored 27 points and limited the visiting Saint Gertrude Gators to 20 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they host St. Catherine's for a game on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, Saint Gertrude falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Gators host Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to confront the Wolves in a game on Monday, February 10. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 8-3.
