The Amarillo Sandies soccer squad scored 11 points and held the host Plainview Bulldogs to 0 in the Sandies league victory on Friday.
The Sandies now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Caprock for a 5A Region 1 District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 21. Amarillo will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 2-2 league Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Plainview moves to 0-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX) to play the Pirates in a 5A Region 1 District 3 bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Lubbock-Cooper won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Coronado (Lubbock, TX)
