The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) and the visiting Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC), observed North Augusta's basketball team knock off Brookland-Cayce by a score of 56-41.

The Yellow Jackets (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Midland Valley prevailed over South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 43-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats encounter the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Brookland-Cayce will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
