In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Burns Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 60-26 win over the East Gaston Warriors.
The Bulldogs (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Golden Lions come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. East Gaston will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Ironmen come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 46-40 non-league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).
