Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Central Dauphin Rams (Harrisburg, PA), 39-34 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Carlisle advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Thundering Herd travel to Altoona (Altoona, PA) to face the Mountain Lions in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. The Mountain Lions enter the match with a record of 1-1.

The Rams now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Reading for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18.
