In Friday's non-league contest, the host Cary Academy Chargers basketball team scored a close 50-48 triumph over the Ravenscroft Ravens.
The Chargers (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Raleigh HomeSchool (Raleigh, NC). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Raleigh HomeSchool nipped Liberty Christian (Durham, NC), 44-23, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Ravens confront the Durham Academy Cavaliers (Durham, NC) in a contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Ravenscroft will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 45-37 league win over North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC).
