In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lancaster Red Devils basketball team scored a good 42-30 triumph over the Essex Trojans.
The Red Devils (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Drifters go into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Essex will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 1-8 record after their 59-57 non-league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA).
