In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Evergreen Plainsmen basketball team scored a good 49-34 win over the Kelso Hilanders.
The Plainsmen (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mark Morris (Longview, WA). The Monarchs come into the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Mark Morris defeated Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA), 77-63, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hilanders battle the WF West Bearcats (Chehalis, WA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Kelso will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 10-2 record after their 48-23 non-league win over Shelton (Shelton, WA).
