Florida High School Basketball - Father Lopez nips New Smyrna Beach

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Father Lopez Green Wave basketball team scored a close 76-74 triumph over the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas.

The Green Wave (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL). The Flashes go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph Academy was tipped by Global Outreach Charter Academy (Jacksonville, FL), 40-35, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Barracudas battle the DeLand Bulldogs (DeLand, FL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. New Smyrna Beach will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record.
