In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mt. Hope Huskies basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the Ponaganset Chieftains.
The Huskies (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI). The Wizards go into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, West Warwick topped Narragansett (Narragansett, RI), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Hope Blue Wave (Providence, RI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Ponaganset will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Blue Wave go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 41-39 non-league win over Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI).
