California High School Basketball - Scripps Ranch beaten by University City

The University City Centurions were victorious over the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons basketball squad by a final score of 65-55 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Centurions face the Ramona Bulldogs (Ramona, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 18. University City will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 7-9 record after their 63-57 league win over San Pasqual (Escondido, CA).

The Falcons (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Dons enter the outing with a 15-1 record. In their last outing, Cathedral Catholic ran past St. Augustine (San Diego, CA), 73-62, in a league outing.
