North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy routs South Stanly

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored a big 64-38 triumph over the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls.
The Cardinals (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Mount Pleasant was trounced by West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 37-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls battle the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 23. South Stanly will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 81-54 non-league loss to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC).
