In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Spotswood Trailblazers basketball team scored a close 47-40 triumph over the Turner Ashby Knights.
The Trailblazers (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons go into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, William Monroe was tipped by Orange County (Orange, VA), 68-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights confront the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Turner Ashby will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record.
