Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Nacogdoches moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX) to clash with the Fightin' Indians in a 5A Region 2 District 10 test on Monday, January 20. The Fightin' Indians come into the test with a record of 6-0. Jacksonville won 4-2 in their recent league test against Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX)

The Mavericks now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tyler for a 5A Region 2 District 10 test on Tuesday, January 21. Marshall will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.
