With the victory, Steele Canyon upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Sweetwater (National City, CA) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 22. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Braves play the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) in a Grossmont - Valley challenge, on Friday, January 21. El Cajon Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Sultans come into the challenge with a 2-17 record after their 82-38 league loss to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA).
