St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Elk Rapids Elks (Elk Rapids, MI), 50-47 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Gladiators host Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI) to clash with the Blazers in a Lake Michigan bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Kalkaska lost 73-43 in their recent league bout against Boyne City (Boyne City, MI)
Next up, the Elks clash with the Harbor Springs Rams (Harbor Springs, MI) in a Lake Michigan bout, on Thursday, January 20. Elk Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 53-35 league loss to Boyne City (Boyne City, MI).
