New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Oregon-Davis Bobcats (Hamlet, IN), 53-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, New Prairie upgrades its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Cougars host Glenn (Walkerton, IN) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 21. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 13-0. Glenn won 64-46 in their recent non-league bout against Culver Community (Culver, IN)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Culver Community Cavaliers (Culver, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 26. Oregon-Davis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 64-46 non-league loss to Glenn (Walkerton, IN).
