The Vigor Wolves (Prichard, AL) basketball felled the visiting Williamson Lions (Mobile, AL), 59-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolves (7-11) will now prepare for their test against W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL). The Eagles go into the 4A Area 1 test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, W.S. Neal was beaten by Elberta (Elberta, AL), 1-0, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 17-8 record. They play next when they host Escambia County for a 4A Area 1 test on Friday, January 21. Williamson will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 44-21 league win over St. Michael Catholic (Fairhope, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 18-3.
