The Anthem Prep Eagles basketball team (Anthem, AZ), was overwhelmed 46-21 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Valley Christian Academy Lions (Phoenix, AZ)

The Lions now possess a 2-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountainside for a 1A West battle on Friday, January 21. North Valley Christian Academy will confront a Wolves team coming off a 36-24 league win over San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-10.

The Eagles (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Phoenix Day School for the Deaf (Phoenix, AZ). The Roadrunners come into the 1A West battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Phoenix Day School for the Deaf was overwhelmed by Mountainside (Wittmann, AZ), 36-24, in a league battle.
