The Herons come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Brantley County lost 53-21 in their recent league challenge against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA)

Next up, the Pirates play the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) in a AAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, January 21. Appling County will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Blue Tide come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 79-53 league loss to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA).
