The Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) basketball crushed the host Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX), 88-28 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lions (15-11) will now prepare for their test against S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX). The Rams go into the 3A Region II District 10 test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, S & S Consolidated was trounced by Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX), 43-38, in a league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Paradise for a 3A Region II District 10 test on Friday, January 21. Boyd will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 52-22 league win over Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 14-12.
