Virginia High School Basketball - Briar Woods knocked off by Woodgrove

The Woodgrove Wolverines basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Briar Woods Falcons to 37 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 13-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverside for a Potomac contest on Friday, January 21. Woodgrove will battle a Ram team coming off a 64-42 non-league win over Lightridge (Aldie, VA). The Ram record now stands at 6-3.

The Falcons (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA). The Phoenix enter the Potomac contest with a 2-6 record.
