In Tuesday's league outing, the Cedar Grove Saints (Ellenwood, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA), by a count of 51-29.
The Saints (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Carver (Atlanta, GA). The Panthers go into the AAA Region 5 outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Carver smashed Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA), 43-34, in a league outing.
The Seminoles now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they host Sandy Creek for a AAA Region 5 outing on Friday, January 21. Salem will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 40-39 league win over Douglass (Atlanta, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-13.
