Utah High School Basketball - Maeser Prep Academy trounced by American Heritage

January 18, 2023: American Fork, UT 84003

The American Heritage Patriots routed the visiting Maeser Prep Academy Lions basketball team by a final score of 80-28 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 21. American Heritage will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 54-49 league loss to Grantsville (Grantsville, UT).

With the defeat, Maeser Prep Academy moves to 3-13 on the year. The Lions host Merit Preparatory Academy (Springville, UT) to face the Knights in a 2A Region 18 game on Wednesday, January 25. The Knights enter the game with a record of 4-13. Merit Preparatory Academy lost 77-36 in their recent league game against Rockwell (Eagle Mountain, UT)
