California High School Basketball - New Designs Watts topped by Animo Venice

January 18, 2023: Los Angeles, CA 90059

The Animo Venice Pirates basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host New Designs Watts Knights to 49 in the Pirates league victory on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host WISH Academy for a Ocean contest on Monday, January 23. Animo Venice will battle a Owls team coming off a 86-56 league loss to Larchmont Charter (West Hollywood, CA). The Owls record now stands at 6-6.

The Knights (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Simon Tech (Los Angeles, CA). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 0-10 record.
