Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA), 89-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Lions host Deer Valley (Antioch, CA) to play the Wolverines in a Bay Valley bout on Friday, January 20. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 5-14. Deer Valley lost 54-49 in their recent league bout against Heritage (Brentwood, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA) in a Bay Valley bout, on Friday, January 20. Antioch will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 65-49 league win over Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA).
