Arkansas High School Basketball - Central can't hold off Bald Knob

The Bald Knob Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Central Cougars to 43 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverview for a 3A Region 6 contest on Saturday, January 21. Bald Knob will battle a Raiders team coming off a 79-64 league loss to Episcopal (Little Rock, AR). The Raiders record now stands at 13-3.

The Cougars (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pangburn (Pangburn, AR). The Tigers enter the 3A Region 6 contest with a 7-18 record. In their last contest, Pangburn was nudged by Rose Bud (Rose Bud, AR), 68-56, in a league contest.
