The Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA) basketball nipped the host Edgewood Lions (West Covina, CA), 63-61 in Wednesday's league test.

The Olympians (3-19) will now prepare for their test against Ganesha (Pomona, CA). The Giants go into the Miramonte test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Ganesha was tipped by Garey (Pomona, CA), 82-29, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 15-5 record. They play next when they host Pomona for a Miramonte test on Thursday, January 19. Edgewood will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 67-40 league win over La Puente (La Puente, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-12.
