In Wednesday's league outing, the Bear Lake Bears (Montpelier, ID) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID), by a count of 66-42.
The Bears (12-2) will now prepare for their outing against Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID). The Cardinals go into the 2A South East Idaho outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Soda Springs was crushed by Declo (Declo, ID), 46-40, in a non-league outing.
The Pirates now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Aberdeen for a 2A South East Idaho outing on Friday, January 20. West Side will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 63-42 league win over Malad (Malad, ID). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
