The Bloomsburg Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Warrior Run Defenders to 47 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loyalsock Township for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Bloomsburg will battle a Lancers team coming off a 72-66 league loss to Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-4.

The Defenders (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA). The Spartans come into the Heartland III contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Hughesville edged Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA), 53-47, in a league contest.
