With the victory, Chincoteague improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Ponies travel to Northampton (Eastville, VA) to play the Yellowjackets in a Eastern Shore challenge on Thursday, January 19. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Northampton won 86-53 in their recent non-league challenge against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Broadwater Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 86-50 non-league loss to Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA).
