The Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Shannon Red Raiders (Shannon, MS), 61-59 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cavaliers (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS). The Troopers go into the 4A Region 1 test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Mooreville was tipped by Corinth (Corinth, MS), 54-51, in a league test.
