In Wednesday's league outing, the St. Mary Cathedral Snowbirds (Gaylord, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Lake Trojans (Central Lake, MI), by a margin of 74-47.

The Snowbirds (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI). The Cardinals go into the Ski-Valley outing with a 0-8 record. In their last outing, Johannesburg-Lewiston was trounced by Bellaire (Bellaire, MI), 51-44, in a league outing.

The Trojans now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Inland Lakes for a Ski-Valley outing on Friday, January 20. Central Lake will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-56 non-league loss to Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
