Orcutt Academy Spartans (Orcutt, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Coast Union Broncos (Cambria, CA), 54-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Orcutt Academy upgrades its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Nipomo (Nipomo, CA) to play the Titans in a Ocean bout on Friday, January 20. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 10-10. Nipomo won 78-51 in their recent league bout against Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA)

Next up, the Broncos play the Cuyama Valley Bears (New Cuyama, CA) in a Coast Valley bout, on Friday, January 20. Coast Union will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record.
