The Coupeville Wolves basketball team scored 57 points and held the host LaConner Braves to 56 in the Wolves league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wolves now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Vernon Christian for a 1B/2B Northwest contest on Friday, January 20. Coupeville will meet a Hurricanes team coming off a 57-45 league win over Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 12-5.
The Braves (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Darrington (Darrington, WA). The Loggers enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Darrington was nudged by Orcas Island (Eastsound, WA), 65-43, in a non-league contest.
