Massachusetts High School Basketball - South can't hold off Doherty Memorial

The Doherty Memorial Highlanders basketball team scored 64 points and held the host South Colonials to 60 in the Highlanders league triumph on Wednesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North for a Inter High contest on Friday, January 20. Doherty Memorial will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Lawrence (Lawrence, MA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 10-2.
The Colonials (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Burncoat (Worcester, MA). The Patriots enter the Inter High contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Burncoat was nudged by University Park (Worcester, MA), 70-62, in a non-league contest.
