The East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) basketball crushed the host Elliott County Lions (Sandy Hook, KY), 59-31 in Wednesday's league test.
The Raiders (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Fairview (Ashland, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Fairview walloped Grace Christian (Huntington, WV), 92-80, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to West Carter for a District 62 test on Friday, January 20. Elliott County will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 66-25 non-league loss to Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Comets record now stands at 3-13.
