In Wednesday's league outing, the Garfield Bulldogs (Seattle, WA) basketball squad edged the visiting Eastside Catholic Crusaders (Sammamish, WA), by a count of 57-54.

The Bulldogs (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Roosevelt (Seattle, WA). The Roughriders go into the 3A Metro outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Roosevelt was tipped by O'Dea (Seattle, WA), 68-28, in a league outing.

The Crusaders now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Bishop Blanchet for a 3A Metro outing on Saturday, January 21. Eastside Catholic will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 77-56 league loss to West Seattle (Seattle, WA). The Bears record now stands at 2-11.
