Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Fouke Panthers (Fouke, AR), 57-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Prescott upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Curley Wolves travel to Glen Rose (Malvern, AR) to play the Beavers in a 3A Region 7 bout on Saturday, January 21. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Glen Rose won 56-48 in their recent league bout against Jessieville (Jessieville, AR)

Next up, the Panthers play the Bismarck Lions (Bismarck, AR) in a 3A Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 20. Fouke will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 51-48 league loss to Centerpoint (Amity, AR).
