Illinois High School Basketball - Freeburg thwarts Waterloo

The Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 57-43 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Midgets (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Red Bud (Red Bud, IL). The Musketeers go into the non-league test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Red Bud went down by Freeburg (Freeburg, IL), 54-43, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they travel to Trico for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19. Waterloo will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 64-50 non-league loss to DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-16.
